Update webhook configurations

As an administrator, you can update a configuration that allows you to automatically send information from Inspire to another app.

Most webhook properties exist to validate communication between Inspire and the external app. For webhooks that require different properties, use the following instructions:

To update a webhook configuration:

  1. From the Administration menu, select Advanced Settings, and then select Webhook Management.
  2. On the Webhook management tab, select the webhook configuration that you want to update.
  3. At the end of the configuration's row, click pencil_icon Update.
    You see an inline box for updating the value.
  4. In the Property Value column, enter new text, update existing text, or select the property from the list that you want to use for the webhook configuration.
    The information in Property Value is unique to your company's connection with the external app.
    • If you use a Property Value isn't correct, Inspire won't be able to communicate with the external app.

  5. To update the webhook configuration and save changes, click Update.
    When you save changes to the webhook configuration, you see the updated value in the Property Value column.
