Send a component to the Deleted items folder
If you aren't using a component anymore and don't want to move it to a folder for archiving, you can send it to the Deleted items folder. The component stays there in case you need to restore it or else you can explicitly delete it permanently.
The Update and Delete component permissions are no longer tied together.
- If you want to move a component between folders, you must have the Update permission for the component. The Update permission no longer lets you also delete the component by default. You must explicitly have the Delete permission to send the component to the Deleted Items folder.
- If you have permission to delete a component, you can no longer also move the component between folders by default. You must explicitly have the Update permission to move a component.

Restrictions- You can't delete a component if it's Locked.
An administrator can unlock a component and then delete it in the following cases:Locked by you. (Either you have the component open, or you saved and closed it without submitting the changes)

- The force deletion of one or more components is only successful if you are an admin or a non-admin user with the Delete permission to the folder.
- You can force the deletion one or more components in the following cases:

The ForceDeleteAllowed feature is set to true.
