Create an AI index for submittals
As an administrator, you can create an index to allow users to add data to it and enable the AI-powered search in Oxygen. The index stores numerical representations of data that is saved after a user clicks the Submit and Save button in the Oxygen editor. The data in this index is used when an author is working in Oxygen and opens the AI Assistant to ask a question.
Before you begin:
- To access this premium feature, you must purchase it separately. Please contact your Vasont customer representative.
- An administrator must enable the type of index you want to create. If you haven't done so yet, follow the steps in: Enable creating an AI index for submittals.
Tips and tricks
- After content has been added to the index, authors working in Oxygen can use the AI-powered search to find content that has already been written to reduce the amount of redundant content and avoid the need to update duplicate content in multiple components.
- You can only create one index per action. If you create another index for the Submit action, and then you try to create another, you see the following error:
- If an index already exists for the Submit action and you want to replace it, you must delete it first. To delete an existing index for Submit, follow the steps in Delete an index.
